The apartments are rented through an assured shorthold tenancy, which is a written legal agreement that sets out the landlord and tenant’s rights and responsibilities. The basic charges include rent, service charges, all heating, hot water, electricity, water rates, use of communal spaces and gardens as well as core care and support 24/7 – see “What are the charges” on the Trees FAQ page. Just download and print the application and medical forms, have them competed, and return them to us to start the application process. If you don’t have access to a printer, call our Housing Office who will send you a pack in the post.

What Happens Next

After we have received your completed application and medical forms, we will contact you to arrange a home visit by our Senior Housing Officer. The resulting assessment will be discussed by the Allocations Panel, which meets on a regular basis, to ensure that each applicant will be suitable for our Scheme. Successful applicants will be placed on the waiting list and will be contacted when a flat becomes available.

Whilst you are on the waiting list, please keep us updated of any change in your circumstances as this might have an impact on your application.
